Introducing Coffee for Wordpress Theme…

Why name it Coffee?
- I know, I know, it’s pretty lame…
Because aside from the color, it reminds me of how much sleepless nights (and gallons of coffee) it took me to develop this theme from scratch, pixel by pixel until it finally reached the point of what it is now.
Description:
Coffee-themed wordpress template. Predominantly with gradients of brown as well as shades of black. The current version of this theme (v1.0.1) has a massive widget compartment, including thumbnailed latest posts and a built-in contact form without the need to download wordpress plugins, both optional and can be replaced via widgets. Layout is a fixed-width 2-column/3-column spread. Ajax-integrated sliding header with highlighted content and drop-down page submenus.
Simple, elegant and functional are words kept in mind while designing this theme, hopefully I succeeded now that it’s done. I plan to release a trimmed-down version of this theme under the GPL license (meaning it’s free for public download – yey!) soon.

You found me on Facebook, and it worked; I followed you to your Web site. I hadn’t thought about re-doing my web site, but once here, I’m really liking Coffee. My only concern is that the focus is on the images. In my experience with the small business clients I partner with, the constantly changing image will distract the viewer, making the image more important than my web site content. Is it possible for the header image to be static?
Also, is it possible to insert my business name in the blank area below the navigation menu?

Thanks for visiting my website, glad you liked my theme. Good call on the sliding images, yes it is intended to act as a ‘featured posts’ to draw the viewer’s attention (hopefully enough to click on it). As I’ve posted on my about page, I plan to release a trimmed down version of this theme soon, and it would definitely be a static header image.
And, yes, it is possible to insert your business name in the blank area below the navigation.
